Within this visit you will discover the tastes of Portuguese Gastronomy and the typical pieces that still today embellish our kitchens, thus contributing to the continuity of our handmade confectionery which gives our dishes the utmost prestige.
As you experience the varied Portuguese food and beverages, we will walk through the most beautiful streets of Coimbra's Historical Center and visit Mercado D. Pedro V where we will let ourselves fall in love with vibrant colors, scents and flavors that define our Mediterranean Diet (also classified as World Immaterial Heritage!).
We will visit a very special cafe, which makes part of the Portuguese Historical Cafes route, and you will learn about conventual pastry and its importance in the History of Portugal!
By the end of this tour, we will finish our tour at a local restaurant with a gastronomic experience! I guarantee you this is a tour you'll want to eat and cry for more!
