My name is Sara Cruz, founder of GO! Walks Portugal.
‍
I am passionate for UNESCO Sites, Music, Traveling, Sustainable & Conscious Living, Animals and Portuguese History & Culture!

Coimbra, in Central Portugal, is my home: the place where I was born and my favorite city in Portugal, classified as World Heritage since 2013!
‍
I am graduated in Tourism, Leisure & Heritage by the University of Coimbra and worked as Manager, Travel Consultant and Tour Guide between 2012 and 2020 in my own Tourism Company called GO! Leisure & Heritage. During those years I have built many themed and tailored routes throughout Portugal, so I have a deep knowledge about the country not only on paper but also because of my experience.

Because of COVID19 I was pushed away from guiding tours, but I haven’t given up on doing what I love most which is promoting my beautiful and inspiring country… so I invite you to join me on a journey through the most impressive areas of Portugal, especially if you are interested in unique secluded places and Portuguese History!

I am currently managing an Instagram and Facebook Page, where you can learn about what I’ve been up to… and my main project right now is a YouTube Channel under the name “GO! WalksPortugal”.
